I tend to resonate with the idea of being clay in the Potter's Hand (Jer.18:6) as well as living life set on pilgrimage (Ps.84:5 niv). Hence the title for my blog, Clay Pilgrim. I strive to live my life simply, authentically, intentionally, and missionally. My desire is to live life proclaiming the One who gave LIFE. I write about things that come to my mind at any given time. My posts may be thought provoking, spiritually edifying, or just plain musings about sports. Either way: Engage!

Hansbrough and Love
As I was looking through ESPN's website finding stories about the Final Four, I came across this article in Page 2 by LZ Granderson. I really appreciated his take on the issue and confess that I have been caught saying that I don't think T Hansbrough will be a good NBA player, mainly because he is white and doesn't have the atleticism that a lot of other players have. Check out the article and let me know what you think.

tough to play against hansbrough, because he is allowed to hack whomever he wants without a whistle. oh yeah, i watched that louisville game. but you can't say anything about hustle. dangit.
There were a few other articles basically playing the same tune. While there are clear racial undetones to this discussion, to me it seems like one of those "yes, but it is totally true" things. Watching the championship game (and a few rounds before it), I was struck by the absence of any white kid who was not a 6'9" or more post player or a spot up 3 point shooter. Where are the slashing 6'7" white forwards or the 6' lightning quick white guards?
